Homemade Mayonnaise

Mix in saucepan: 1/3 C flour, 1 Tsp sugar, 1 Tsp salt, 1 Tsp dry mustard

Add gradually: 3/4 C water, 1/4 C mild vinegar or lemon juice

Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture boils. Boil 1 minute. Remove from heat. Pour into bowl. Beat in with rotary beater 4 egg yolks (2 whole eggs). Continue beating, adding 1 C salad/vegetable oil a little at a time.
